Due to the restrictions regarding the COVID 19 pandemic, we will no longer be auditioning at any international centres for 2021 entry. Please see the section on video auditions for more details.
The information below is relevant for 2022 entry only.
Academy auditions are available in Asia, Australia and North America for most of our study programmes. However, some studies are only auditioned in London - these are shown in the list below:
- Opera
- Jazz (audition can also be done by video)
- Conducting
- Choral Conducting
- Répétiteur
- Composition (interviews for composition can also be done by video)
- Research degrees (interviews can also be done by video)
Musical Theatre auditions are only available in London and New York, or by video.
It may not be possible to audition candidates for Harp, Percussion, Organ or Historical Performance at our host venues. Please email admissions@ram.ac.uk or contact your local audition coordinator before completing your UCAS Conservatoires application. Don’t worry, though, video auditions are another option for these subjects.
Non-EEA passport holders will probably need a visitor visa to attend an audition in London.
We’re happy to help and can provide an invitation letter to support your application. Please contact admissions@ram.ac.uk.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to support visa applications for audition venues outside the UK.
For information about visas for study, see Visas and Immigration.
If you have questions about auditioning in our Australia and East Asia centres, please contact the official representatives listed below. We do not recognise other agencies.
