Join us for our Discovery Event, where you will gain an insight into your chosen area of study

The Jazz Department are inviting prospective students to join them for a day of classes and rehearsals.

  • 11-11.45am Introduction from Head of Jazz Programmes Nick Smart
  • 12-1pm Observe a second year, undergraduate rep/improv class
  • 1pm Tour of the Academy building
  • 1.30-2pm Q&A with staff, students and members of our Admission team
  • 2-3pm Lunch Break
  • 3-6pm Academy Jazz Orchestra rehearsal featuring Anders Jormin. This is an open rehearsal where no instrument is required, and visitors can stay for as long as they like.
