For over 200 years, we have moved music forward

We believe music has the power to change lives, and that brilliance should never be limited by circumstance. When talent is given the chance to thrive, its impact is felt far beyond the individual, resonating across communities and generations.

Your support can give the best and brightest the formative experiences that will shape their entire careers.

The Royal Academy of Music’s Future: Plínio, Braimah, Sheku and Tom

>

Plínio, Braimah, Sheku and Tom were brought together by meeting at the Academy. In this short film, they reflect on their appearance with Fantasia Orchestra as part of the 2024 BBC Proms. Thanks to philanthropic support, talented young musicians can lay the foundations for their success on the world’s stages.

I feel honoured every day not only to study opera at the Academy, but also to be supported and encouraged to do so. My scholarship means I can study at this amazing place, receiving the highest quality of training to shape me into a professional musician without financial anxiety.
