Naarah is currently studying on our postgraduate Musical Theatre course and holds the Disney Theatrical Productions Scholarship at the Academy. Previously, Naarah has performed in Wesley Enoch's musicals The Sunshine Club and The Sapphires, and played the supporting lead role of Sharelle in the Amazon Prime series Deadloch.
Naarah uses Instagram and TikTok to spark important conversations about First Nations identity, culture and representation. She was awarded Tasmania's Young Australian of the Year 2024 for making a positive impact through her acting and music. On 25 January, she represented the Academy at the Australian of the Year 2024 awards ceremony in Canberra and met Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister of Australia.
