After an audition stage earlier in the spring term, three Junior Academy students were selected from an initial group of 20 to perform in the final of the Year 13 Prize. Leo Little (piano), Daria Pando (voice) and Finn Anderson-Hendra (cello), who are regularly involved in orchestral, chamber and ensemble programmes at Junior Academy, presented recitals of music ranging from Bach to Rimsky-Korsakov, Messiaen and Barber on the day of the final. These were performed in front of an audience of friends and family in the Duke's Hall and were adjudicated by the Academy's Dean of Students, Elizabeth Kenny.

Pianist Leo Little was awarded the Prize after his memorable performance of a Bach Suite, Samuel Barber’s Nocturne Op 33, ‘Dreams’ No 1 by Lera Auerbach and Basso Ostinato by Rodion Shchedrin.
