Our Edwardian main building, with its sweeping staircase, stained-glass windows and marble mosaic flooring, was built in 1911 and is a truly inspiring place.

Performance Venues
The Duke’s Hall
Our flagship 319-seat concert venue.
The Susie Sainsbury Theatre
An award-winning 309-seat venue featuring a fully equipped stage and orchestra pit. Its innovative architecture and state-of-the-art technology make it the perfect setting for large-scale productions, including fully staged operas.
The Angela Burgess Recital Hall
A striking 94-seat rooftop venue boasting exceptional, studio-quality acoustics tailored for both recording and live performance. This highly acclaimed space blends cutting-edge design with a bright, intimate atmosphere.
The David Josefowitz Recital Hall
An intimate recital hall with seating for up to 108 people.
The Forsyth Room
An elegant 40-seat space refurbished in 2022 for smaller recitals, meetings, conferences and drinks receptions.
Other Spaces and Facilities
We also have a selection of rehearsal, teaching and practice rooms available for hire, and all of our spaces are equipped with pianos.

Availability
We welcome all enquiries to hire our spaces. Please note that due to student activity, venues are usually available:
- Saturdays (evenings only, except on Junior Academy half term dates)
- Sundays
- Outside Academy term time
