Follow in the footsteps of recent alumni, who perform in top ensembles and hold principal orchestral positions around the world.
The Academy’s Brass Department offers individual lessons with a team of distinguished professors and visiting professors. Kira Doherty leads the department. Kira is a regular guest with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Orchestras and many others.
Our students receive essential musical and technical grounding in the core repertoire. They take advantage of a wide range of performance opportunities and masterclasses, from partnerships with prestigious venues and orchestras across London to rich orchestral and chamber music programmes and competitions, both internal and external.
We help our students make the most of their time at the Academy, preparing them for a fulfilling career in music.
