Harp Discovery Events

Meet Stephen Fitzpatrick, Head of Harp at the Academy, as well as professors, students and members of the Admissions team.

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to attend a concert and masterclass, as well as observe some sessions on technique and orchestral playing.

  • 2.30-3.10pm | Welcome from Stephen Fitzpatrick and short concert by current Academy students
  • 3.10-4.10pm | Masterclass with Professor of Harp, Skaila Kanga; Session on Orchestral Playing with Sue Blair; Session on Technique with Charlotte Seal
  • 4.10-4.30pm | Short tour of the Academy
  • 4.30-5.15pm | Introduction to the Academy with a member of Registry/Admissions; Q&A with Registry, Karen Vaughan, Stephen Fitzpatrick and Hannah Runting (student rep)
