Joanna MacGregor introduces scintillating cadenzas composed by four Academy pianists, discussing the art of developing material with a contemporary voice – including extracts from some of Mozart’s most famous concertos played on two pianos.
Every year, third year piano undergraduates perform a Mozart piano concerto exam – and here are some of their original cadenzas!
