Opera and Vocal Studies Discovery Events

Wednesday 30 September 2026

  • 10am | Introductory session with Kate Paterson, Head of Vocal Studies, in the Susie Sainsbury Theatre
  • 11am | All vocal classes and teaching open to registered visitors
  • Time TBC | Opportunity for prospective Royal Academy Opera students to speak with Christopher White, Head of Opera
  • 11.30am | First student-led building tour (sign-up on arrival); meet in main foyer
  • 12.30pm | Second student-led building tour (sign-up on arrival); meet in main foyer
  • 1.30pm | Third student-led building tour (sign-up on arrival); meet in main foyer
  • 5.15pm | Final vocal class of the day ends, although 1:1 teaching continues into the evening; you’re welcome to remain for as much of the day as you wish
