Course Details
The Junior Academy Musical Theatre (JAMT) Mentorship Course is a one-year course for a limited number of talented students who are either a little too young for the JAMT course, or age 13 with less experience but outstanding potential. It is held once a month during term time on Saturday mornings.
This course focuses on age-appropriate solo musical theatre repertoire, ensemble singing, and drama. Participants will work with West End musical directors, the JAMT teaching team, course leaders, and alumni from the Academy's MA Musical Theatre course. It provides a strong foundation for those planning to apply to join the main JAMT company.
How do I apply?
Entry is via Discovery Day Workshop audition, Outreach Workshop, or invitation.
The next Discovery Day event is in February 2026.
What are the Fees?
This course is fully funded and there are no fees.
