As a cellist with a love for a variety of styles and genres beyond classical music, I have spent many years collaborating with other artists to bring their projects to life
Now, I am embarking on my own creative journey, developing a research project centred around cello and voice, where I step into the role of band leader.

I will experiment with various approaches to songwriting and composition to refine my creative process, which will culminate in the recording of an EP/album.
My core band features myself on cello and vocals, alongside a pianist and drummer with a background in jazz. As I write new material, I will bring it to the group for collaborative workshops and invite other instrumentalists to join as the music evolves. I will also capture and reflect on this research process as it evolves. My wider goal is to broaden the ways the cello is played and the contexts in which it is heard.
