Collaborative Resonance

The cultures and histories of different countries have long inspired composers, and throughout history many Western composers have incorporated elements of Eastern culture into their works. However, as time has progressed, composers’ understandings of different cultures, as well as their compositional styles and aesthetic values, have continued to evolve. The way performers and composers interpret Eastern culture is also changing. In my project, I aim to collaborate with a new generation of composers to interpret the meaning of cultural fusion today, using our own contemporary understanding of culture and music. As a performer, I will engage in discussions with the composers and actively participate and explore their creative processes and artistic journeys. Through this collaborative approach, we hope to ultimately present our ideas more effectively to the audience.
