Winston Rollins

Winston Rollins began playing the trombone at the age of ten and later trained at Trinity College of Music in London.

His extensive background is steeped in the UK music scene, having performed and recorded with major acts such as The Brand New Heavies, Incognito, Aswad, Jamiroquai, and Courtney Pine. Since 1994, he has been a core member of Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, playing as one of the four trombonists driving the orchestra's legendary brass section.

Based at his own facility, RedRoom Studios in Chiswick, West London, Winston is also an accomplished producer and arranger. His talents extend far beyond the trombone; he is a skilled songwriter, keyboardist, and bass player, celebrated not only for his musical versatility but for his unique personality and commanding presence on stage.
