Award-winning composer and Music Director, known for his work on Standing at the Sky’s Edge and Tammy Faye

Tom Deering is an award-winning composer and Music Director who has worked on some of the UK’s most exciting new musicals.

Tom recently won an Olivier Award for his work asMusical Supervisor, Orchestrator and Arranger for the critically acclaimed new musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge. He was also recently the Musical Supervisor, Orchestrator and Arranger for the new musical Tammy Faye, which featured original music by fellow Academy alum Elton John.

Tom has worked on numerous Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre productions including, Carousel, On The Town and the Olivier Award winning production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Tom’s extensive list of credits as Musical Director include Wonder.Land (National Theatre), The Color Purple (Menier Chocolate Factor) and the West End productions of Made in Dagenham, From Here to Eternity.
