Shivaane is a Singaporean musical theatre performer of South Indian descent. She holds a degree in Anthropology from Concordia University in Montreal. Before joining the Academy, she worked for three years in news and video production at Mediacorp, creating current affairs content for Gen Z audiences.

Shivaane made her professional theatre debut on the Wild Rice stage in Joel Tan’s People as part of Wild Rice’s Young & Wild 2024 cohort. Her subsequent theatre credits include Olive’s Mum in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Sing'Theatre, Jasmine in Aladdin: Christmas Pantomime at The Stage Club, Shiv in Brown-er Face at The Necessary Stage and Sam/Juliet in Shakespeare in Love at The Stage Club.

Screen credits include Monique in AsiaOne's Shag Sia! Season 2 and the occasional appearance as a talking head on the social media channel weKaypoh.

Shivaane believes performance is a worthy medium to confront urgent socio-political issues and is delighted to be at the Academy.
