Seth Schultheis

Aud Jebsen Piano Fellow

Seth Schultheis is an American pianist based in London, currently an Aud Jebsen Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music

Fluent in a wide range of styles and composers, Seth is also a dedicated performer of contemporary music.

Seth spent this past summer as a Fellow of the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, highlights of which included a world premiere by Samuel Adams and a performance of Boulez's Sur Incises. In May 2025, Seth was also awarded second prize in the Dudley International Piano Competition in Birmingham.

Seth has previously collaborated with Stephen Armstrong, Benjamin Niemczyk, and George Manahan in performances of Mozart Piano Concerto No. 5, Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 and Berg Chamber Concerto. Past competition highlights include winning Grand Prize in the 2017 Osaka International Music Competition, and Fourth Prize and Best Commissioned Piece at the 2022 New York International Piano Competition.
