Nathan Feeney
Musical Direction and Coaching
Nathan is a musical director, pianist, and accompanist from Glasgow, based in London. He previously graduated with a first-class BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he principally studied piano performance, alongside conducting, arranging, orchestration, and music technology. During this time, Nathan worked with performing arts institutions across Scotland including iNTER Performing Arts Academy and the Dance School of Scotland's Musical Theatre Course.
Nathan is currently studying Musical Directing & Coaching at the Royal Academy of Music, where he directs and assists on several projects and large-scale productions, including Chess, Little Women, Trev: The Musical Lives of Trevor Nunn, Big Fish, and the Agent Showcase.
Other credits include Rehearsal/Audition pianist for My Fair Lady (Pitlochry Festival Theatre), Music Assistant for Love Life: West End Unites Against Cancer (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Rehearsal Pianist for To Maury, With Love (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), and Orchestrator for the New Wave Orchestra
Nathan is proudly supported by the McGlashan Charitable Trust, Help Musicians — where he holds the Lesley Hayes Award for Musical Directors — and the Tomoro Foundation Award at the Academy.
