Natacha Maia

Natacha’s passion for musical theatre started at age 11 when she decided to join a course at the Conservatoire of Music and Arts of Dão in Portugal. Amongst many original shows, she has starred in productions such as Bugsy Malone, Oliver Twist and Grease, and her biggest role was playing Aldonza in a production of Man of La Mancha.

Natacha made her professional debut at 15 years old in Aladdin with composer Artur Guimarães. She also featured on a Christmas album that Guimarães produced, and later led two shows that he musically directed: Peter Pan on Ice in the role of Tinkerbell and The Nutcracker and the Ice Kingdom in the role of Clara, where she learned to ice skate.

Since then, she has voiced a character on a Disney TV show, covered a Barbie song and sang the opening theme of Totally Spies. Her theatre credits include Gingy in Shrek and Meat in the first Portuguese production of We Will Rock You with West End stars Madalena Alberto and Adam Filipe. Natacha is receiving a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music.
