Michael has an international career as both a soloist and chamber musician

Recognised as one of the most important British flautists, Michael is principal flute of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Academy of St Martins in the Fields. He is also a former member of the Britten Sinfonia and the London Mozart Players.

Michael is a passionate teacher, giving classes all over the world, and brings his unique curriculum to the Oxford Flute Summer School.
