Since graduating in 2017, actor Merryl Ansah has starred in some of the UK’s favourite shows in the West End and around the country.
Merryl can currently be seen starring as Nala in the West End production of Disney’s The Lion King, a role she previously understudied in 2019.
In the summer of 2022, Merryl played Irene Roth in the critically acclaimed production of Crazy for You at Chichester Festival Theatre. She took on one of the leading roles in Heathers the Musical UK Tour, having also starred in the West End production shortly after graduating.
Merryl’s other theatre credits include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical UK Tour and A Christmas Carol at the prestigious Old Vic Theatre in London.
