Laurent Ben Slimane
Hon ARAM Professor of Bass Clarinet
Laurent was born in France and went to the Conservatoire Superieur de Paris-CSP
He studied the clarinet with Richard Vieille and the bass clarinet with Bruno Martinez.
He joined the Philharmonia Orchestra in 2005 and is also founder member of Ailleur5 in France with whom he has recorded two CDs for Cristal Records.
Laurent has played with different orchestras including the London Symphonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, London Chamber Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic of Manchester, Northern Sinfonia, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Ensemble Orchestral de Paris.
He is Professor at the Ponte Cultura International Summer Academy in Corsica.
