José Raúl

José holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Temple University in the US where he played Jesus in Godspell, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Marat in Marat/Sade and Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. 

Professional performance credits include the North American Broadway tours of Mean Girls (Aaron Samuels) and Cats (Principal Swing), a co-star role on American Horror Story, Beecher in the world premiere of WOLFCRUSH, as well as new play developments with The New Group, PlayPenn, InterAct Theatre and Philadelphia Young Playwrights. José’s awards include the Chip Hand Prize for Vocal Excellence in the American Pops Orchestra’s NextGen National Vocal competition and a scholarship to study in the 2024 Tony Award-winning Wilma Theatre’s HotHouse Summer Intensive.
