Jacky has worked with many big orchestras and chamber ensembles

Jacky played professionally with the English Chamber Orchestra, London Philharmonic, Royal Opera House and Glyndebourne Touring Opera among others. She has also worked with many chamber ensembles. Her love for teaching has gradually taken over, and she now combines teaching at Junior and Primary Academy with a private teaching practice and running courses.

She has taught on many courses including the National Childrens Orchestra, Summer Strings, Pro Corda, National Symphony Orchestra and Stringwise. 12 years ago, Jacky initiated sponsorship of a new viola club in Primary Academy, encouraging more young musicians to experience the viola.

Following its popularity, Jacky founded and became musical director of the Arpeggione junior and intermediate viola courses in Suffolk in 2009. Three years later the senior Arpeggione course started, which introduces teachers from the conservatoires who visit to do masterclasses and recitals for those attending the course. This course is designed to give guidance and advice just before their auditions.

These courses also offer conservatoire student teaching places to encourage those who have a passion for teaching.
