Irvine Iqbal is an actor known for his roles in Disney's Aladdin, Bend it Like Beckham and East is East, among many others.
Actor, Irvine Iqbal has an impressive list of stage credits to his name, most recently starring in the world premiere of Come Fall In Love – DDLJ the Musical in San Diego, USA.
Irvine is the first and only British Asian actor to have performed in all three British Asian musicals in the West End which include Bombay Dreams, The Far Pavilions and Bend it like Beckham.
Irvine’s other theatre credits include The Father and the Assassin (National Theatre), Sultan in the West End production of Disney’s Aladdin, East is East (National Theatre), The Boy in the Dress (Royal Shakespeare Company) and Romeo and Juliet (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre).
Irvine has also featured in a host of popular television shows including The Bill, Doctors and EastEnders. Most recently, Irvine played Abu Kabil in the short film Two Blinks.
