Erica studied at the Academy with Howard Davis

Together with solo repertoire she specialised in Chamber Music, working intensively with Sidney Griller and the Alberni string quartet.

After graduating she enjoyed a very busy and versatile freelance career in classical music. She has performed and recorded with many of the London orchestras, most notably The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia and London Sinfonietta. She has also performed widely acorss the UK and abroad.

Erica has been teaching at Junior Academy for over 15 years and in that time has seen many of her students being awarded scholarships to continue their studies at senior conservatories. Her students have been awarded places at NYO, have participated in International competitions, and have been awarded scholarships to Westminster, Eton and St Paul’s school. In addition to teaching at the Academy, Erica also teaches at Eton College and Bedford school. She is often invited to adjudicate in Festivals and for music awards.

In 2017 Erica was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music for her contribution to teaching.
