Daniel is a sought-after conductor and music director, author and vocal coach

Daniel has supervised or directed the music for some of the profession’s biggest producers, including Disney, Cameron Mackintosh, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group and Joop van den Ende’s Stage Entertainment. He has worked on iconic productions including The Lion King, Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Cats, Joseph, and Avenue Q, both in the UK and worldwide.

A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Daniel studied conducting with Michael Tilson Thomas, Leonard Bernstein, Max Rudolf and Sergiu Celibidache, among others. Having started his career as a trumpet player, Daniel was Principal Trumpet in the inaugural year of the New World Symphony and has performed with the Cleveland, Philadelphia and St Louis Symphony Orchestras under many of the greatest conductors of the late 20th century.
