Connie joined RAM Junior Academy in September 2017. She also teaches at Uppingham and Oakham Schools.

As a performer, Connie held the post of Associate Principal Bassoon with RTE National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland from 2008-2013. An active freelance performer since leaving the post, she has performed with the majority of the UKs top orchestras. She enjoys both Principal bassoon and section playing.

Her most recent guest orchestral work has included London Mozart Players, Britten Sinfonia, City of London Sinfonia, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra working with world class conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Kirill Karabits, Mirga Grazinyte-Tyla, Edward Gardner and Thomas Ades. She is also a regular guest with The New European Ensemble based in The Hague.
