Catherine Wyn-Rogers sings

Catherine Wyn-Rogers is a Mezzo-soprano with an international career spanning five decades.

Her career spans recital, oratorio and opera from 1980 to the present day, with a wide repertoire from Bach and Handel, through Wagner and Elgar to Benjamin Britten and beyond. Notable performances include the BBC Last Night of the Proms, appearances at La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Bayerisches Staatsoper, Paris Garnier, Teatro Real Madrid and Teatro Real Roma, as well as all British opera companies. 

She has taken part in many recordings, most notably of Handel’s Messiah, Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius and Britten’s Peter Grimes. Catherine has taught at the Royal Academy of Music since 2013.
