Alice Aucott

Alice oversees the day-to-day operations of the Musical Theatre course and is the department’s first point of contact for both staff and students

After graduating, Alice worked in the University's Performing Arts enrichment department as Assistant Manager of Performing Arts, overseeing student-led theatre involving over 600 students across over 30 individual theatre companies. In this role she supported and mentored undergraduates at a 450 seat venue, organising international tours.

Alice was also the Development Coordinator at The Sir Thomas Allen Assembly Rooms Theatre in Durham, managing links between The Durham Drama Festival, The Durham Fringe Festival, the University and the student body.

More recently, Alice has also freelanced as a producer and stage manager, supporting emerging theatre companies, specifically with outdoor touring productions of classical works.
