Adrian Thompson

FGS Professor of Singing (Opera & Vocal Studies)

Adrian studied at GSMD and has had a long career in Opera, Concert and Oratorio

He has performed at Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, Glyndebourne, Netherlands Opera, Frankfurt Opera and Canadian Opera Company.

Adrian has recorded lieder with Graham Johnson, Roger Vignoles and Iain Burnside. He is well known for his Britten recordings of The Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings.

More recently he has developed a working relation with Grange Park Opera.
