Ann trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the Mozarteum Salzburg. She completed her training with the Rotary International Award in Paris.

Ann has enjoyed an extensive career as a soloist for BBC Radio 2 featuring in Friday Night is Music Night, Magic of the Movies, and Songs from the Shows among others. For television her work has ranged from the Magic Flute ( BBC2) to Never Mind the Buzzcocks. As an exponent of Viennese operetta she has completed five UK and three Scandinavian Tours, and appeared at the South Bank, the Barbican and the Albert Hall with the Magic of Vienna. English operetta has taken her to USA, the Caribbean, Malta, Gibraltar and the Middle East as well as most of the major UK festivals and theatres.

She has also appeared at the London Palladium and with the Dance Theatre of Harlem at the London Coliseum. She has been a singing teacher on the Royal Academy Music Theatre Course since it took its present form. She also teaches on the degree course at Arts Educational Schools, has run Opera Workshops for LCM and for 5 years was a vocal consultant on various rock musicals in Paris. She regularly gives Masterclasses and is a member of the BVA.

Ann is also in demand as an adjudicator and has been an Examiner for LRAM.
