Septura SIDE-BY-SIDE: Suite from Rinaldo, Handel arr Simon Cox

Academy students perform Suite from Rinaldo (Handel arr Simon Cox) alongside the Brass Department’s Ensemble in Residence, Septura.

This programme celebrated the free movement of music, with a collection of pieces by migratory musicians: a Russian in the US, a Spaniard in Rome, two German-born composers in England and a Guadeloupe-born artist in Paris. Rich repertoire was reimagined for the uniquely powerful sound of the brass septet.
