Julius Maknickas and Emanuil Ivanov perform Debussy’s Cello Sonata in D minor

A performance of Debussy’s Cello Sonata in D minor, featuring Julius Maknickas (cello) and Emanuil Ivanov (piano), recorded as part of the 2026 Hilda Bor Circle at the Royal Academy of Music.

Emanuil Ivanov is the first Piano Laureate Fellow, supported by the late Sulamita Aronovsky’s generous legacy bequest; a gift that will support many early career pianists in the next 25 years.
