Glover-Edwards Conducting Programme
The Glover-Edwards Conducting Programme is aimed at women conductors to bridge the gap between undergraduate and postgraduate study.
The programme is for women who are considering applying for a Master’s in orchestral conducting in the UK or abroad.
Led by Sian Edwards, Head of Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, and including masterclasses with Jane Glover and Alice Farnham.

While there was so much incredibly useful technical advice and illuminating discussion about the music, there was also a wonderful sense of camaraderie between us all which made for the most productive learning environment I’ve ever experienced

How to Apply
To apply for the Glover–Edwards Conducting Programme, please send the following by email:
- CV / Resume – including a brief breakdown of education, qualifications, and relevant experience.
- Cover Letter (maximum one side of A4) – detailing why you would like to be a part of this programme.
In the body of your email, please confirm your full availability to attend the first weekend (11–13 September 2026).

The deadline for applications is Friday 26 June 2026.
