Young musicians need the best training opportunities to commit to their craft and reach their full potential

By making a gift today, you will ensure that the Academy can continue to discover and nurture talented musicians for years to come.

There are several ways to give to the Academy. To ensure your gift can be used to support students as efficiently as possible, we recommend making a credit card or direct debit gift.

We are also happy to receive cheques. Please make out cheques to Royal Academy of Music and post them to:

Become a Friend or Patron

By becoming a Friend or Patron you could strengthen your relationship with the Academy and the support we offer young musicians as they train to enter a rapidly evolving profession. You will be a Friend (£100+) or a Patron (£1,000+) based on the gifts you have made each year. You will receive exclusive benefits and see first-hand the difference your generosity is making.

Make a Lasting Difference

There are many meaningful ways to make a difference with donations of £10,000 or more. These include:

  • establishing a named award
  • supporting the refurbishment of one of our spaces
  • making a contribution to our Widening Participation work

In the UK, charitable donations of cash and shares are tax deductible and their impact on the Academy is increased by Gift Aid. You can also make donations from trusts, foundations, donor advised funds (including CAF accounts) and other charitable giving vehicles.

We are particularly grateful to those who have made a significant contribution to the Academy as Wellington Benefactors and our Regents' Court of Benefactors.

Giving from overseas

Last year, our donors made gifts from 22 different countries. Giving from the USA? You are welcome to make a tax-deductible donation through our American Society. If you’re giving from another country and need help, please email our Philanthropy team.
