Deborah Stinton

Deborah has worked in the performing arts and musical theatre for more than 15 years.

Deborah trained as a classical musician at the Royal Academy of Music’s Junior Academy studying percussion, piano and violin, and as a professional dancer at London Studio Centre specialising in musical theatre.

Her work as an actor-musician has spanned the West End and UK regional theatres, working extensively with young companies, with credits including Oliver! (Watermill Theatre), Godspell (Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch), Animal Farm (Theatr Clwyd), The Wind in the Willows (York Theatre Royal), the London revival of Anyone Can Whistle and the original West End cast of Dreamboats and Petticoats.

As a choreographer, she has run workshops for youth theatres across London and the South East, staged concerts, and been dance captain for various productions.

Deborah is passionate about inclusion and equality in the arts, and over the last few years has specialised in arts and programme management. She has worked for the campaign group Parents & Carers in Performing Arts and the anti-racism charity Inc Arts UK, and is an ambassador for The F-List for Music.
