Jacob is a singer and producer, working with the UK’s leading choirs.
Jacob’s musical training began as a chorister at Westminster Abbey. He is a former organ scholar and music graduate of Keble College, Oxford, and completed his MA in Ensemble Singing at the University of York in 2018.
Upon graduating, Jacob conducted the choir of Lincoln College, Oxford (2016-17). As a singer, he now works regularly with groups such as The Monteverdi Choir, Tenebrae, I Fagiolini, Apollo5, London Voices, and the BBC Singers.
He is also a producer, working most recently for Sony and Signum Records, with groups such as Tenebrae, Siglo de Oro, The Marian Consort, SANSARA, and Gramophone Award-winning Ensemble Plus Ultra.
He is passionate about bringing the theory of good tuning to the practical life of an ensemble singer, and enabling conductors to not only truly fix tuning issues efficiently and precisely, but to also pass on to their singers the tools needed to sing in tune as part of an ensemble.
