Hamish Forsyth is President of Europe and Asia at the Capital Group, a global investment firm, which he joined in 1992 after graduating from Trinity College, Oxford with a first in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Hamish has played governance roles at several education and performing arts organisations and is currently on the board of Sir John Soane’s Museum and the Oxford International Song Festival. He lives with his wife and three daughters in west London.

Hamish joined the Academy's Governing Body on 1 September 2023.
