Lorenza Borrani leads the Academy Chamber Orchestra in a performance of the Allegro vivace from Beethoven's Symphony No 8 in F, Op 93.

As well as being an acclaimed solo and orchestral performer, Borrani is a specialist in creative programming and an experienced ensemble leader. In this performance, she leads the orchestra alongside Academy players and members of Spira mirabilis, a leading chamber orchestra of which she is a co-founder.

This concert from the Duke’s Hall, which also featured Haydn’s Overture to L’isola disabitata, was streamed in full on the Academy’s Facebook page, where it has so far been viewed over 34,000 times.
