Academy Symphonic Brass present a celebration of Scottish trumpeter, composer and arts educator John Wallace, who was Head of Brass from 1992 to 2002. The programme includes movements from The Invisible Symphony, conceived and transcribed by Wallace, which reimagines Gabrieli’s Canzoni et Sonate (1615), a monumental antiphonal work for five brass choirs.
