• Premiere of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies’ new opera Kommilitonen!, a joint commission with The Juilliard School (you can watch our documentary about the opera here)
• Productions of Albert Herring, La fedeltà premiata, L’occasione fa il ladro, Semele with the late Sir Charles Mackerras, Hänsel und Gretel, La Calisto, Paradise Moscow, The Marriage of Figaro with Sir Colin Davis
  and John Copley, Dardanus, and Così fan tutte and Cavalli’s Il Giasone with Jane Glover
• Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Award for postgraduate singers
• Patric Schmid Opera Rara Bel Canto Prize
