Academy students perform alongside alum Timothy Ridout, Visiting Professor of Viola, in a programme of works by British composers, which begins with an arrangement of Beethoven’s Trio, Op 87, by inspirational viola player Lionel Tertis (1876-1975).
This event will be preceded by a pre-concert talk with the Academy’s Lionel Tertis Professor of Viola, Martin Outram, and Timothy Ridout at midday on the life and works of Lionel Tertis, in celebration of his 150th anniversary
