Programme Details

Join us for a groundbreaking concert that bridges cultures and continents. In July, six distinguished European musicians including Andrea Granitzio, Tom Lidgley, Bogdan Skrypka, Gwyneth Nelmes, Eugene Griffin, and the group’s lead mentor operatic soprano Beibei Wang journeyed to Guizhou, China, to immerse themselves in the region's rich musical heritage and seek inspiration from its unique sounds. Now, they return to London, to present a wonderful performance that fuses the very best of Eastern and Western music traditions.

This spectacular concert will show breathtaking Chinese traditional music alongside Western classics by the London Ulysses Orchestra under the baton of conductor Cathal Garvey, as well as the enchanting sounds of Guizhou’s indigenous minority cultures. You’ll also be treated to the original compositions that celebrate this cross-cultural collaboration.
