Programme Details

Celebrated as one of the leading ambassadors of Arabo-Andalusian music, Lila Borsali bridges continents and cultures, bringing together the musical heritage of Europe and North Africa with rare elegance and authenticity.

The renowned Algerian singer and composer draws from the classical Algerian repertoire, performing alongside her orchestra, poetic suites known as Noubaat, rooted in the Gharnati tradition of Granada and its refined variation, the Hawzi born out of Tlemcen, Algeria.
Guided by the spiritual depth of Sufism, Borsali transforms her voice into more than an instrument, it becomes a vessel of emotion, transcendence, and unity. Her mesmerising tone and heartfelt interpretation make Lila Borsali one of the most captivating voices in Arabo-Andalusian music today.
