Shivaane is a Singaporean musical theatre performer of South Indian descent. She holds an Honours degree in Anthropology from Concordia University in Montreal. Before joining RAM, she worked for three years in news and video production at Mediacorp, creating current affairs content for Gen Z audiences.

Shivaane made her professional theatre debut on the Wild Rice stage in Joel Tan’s People (2024) as part of Wild Rice’s Young & Wild 2024 cohort. Her subsequent theatre credits include Olive’s Mum in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Sing'Theatre, 2025), Jasmine in Aladdin: Christmas Pantomime (The Stage Club, 2024), Shiv in Brown-er Face (The Necessary Stage, 2024), and Sam/Juliet in Shakespeare in Love (The Stage Club, 2024).

Screen credits include Monique in Shag Sia! Season 2 (AsiaOne), and the occasional appearance as a talking head on @weKaypoh.

She believes performance is a worthy medium to confront urgent socio-political issues, and is delighted to be at the Academy.
