James joins the Academy from China after having completed his undergraduate degree in musical theatre at the Central Academy of Drama. He has five years of experience as a musical theatre actor in China.
James has played major roles in original Chinese musicals such as The island, Piano in a Factory and Lei Yu, as well as national tours of Fiddler on the Roof and Man of La Mancha.
He studied ballet for seven years, graduated from Beijing Dance Academy and participated in many ballet performances such as Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and La Bayadère.
