Flavio is a graduate of the Academy, where he achieved an LRAM in accordion teaching
With an ambition to improve the accordion’s identity in the classical music world, Flavio has worked with various renowned composers for the creation of new original repertoire for the instrument.
He has performed with the Royal Academy Opera and Opera North companies, bringing the accordion to new environments, and also with different chamber music ensembles performing in several Music Festivals and Theatres in London.
Throughout his musical career, he found a great passion for teaching and has been giving Workshops and Masterclasses in music schools across the UK, showing the accordion’s diversity and abilities, but also helping students to find their own musical voice in their instrument of choice.
