They had been due to record the piece at Abbey Road Studios with students from the University of Miami Frost School of Music before the lockdown sadly disrupted these plans. This virtual big band of Academy players is a dynamic tribute to the paused project.

Composed ahead of our Bicentenary, Quest is one of the 200 Pieces of new music written to celebrate this milestone in 2022. We will have another piece to share with you next week.
