The symposium will run over the course of two days, beginning on Saturday 6th April, delivering a packed schedule of talks and performances.
Highlights include the Academy’s own Head of Recording David Gleeson talking on the shifting trends in recording technologies and a workshop led by the Academy’s Professor of Public Engagement, Raymond Holden, examining the differing approaches of conductors and composers to Mozart’s symphonies. There will also be an all-Mozart performance by students of the Academy and Bern University of the Arts.
The symposium is free and tickets are not required.
